Please come prepared to have lots of FUN!
What dolls should you bring?
You must have two dolls to work with so we can
create the two styles.
Feel free to bring any fashion doll that you like,
however there are a couple things to consider before
making your final choice.
In my opinion, the hair cutting subjects should be
dolls that you like, but really want to change.
They should have saran hair.
Saran is very silky and soft and easy to work with.
If you attempt to use a doll that has kanecalon or a
lower grade of hair, you may not achieve the desired
style.
If you don't know what saran hair is, just ask us
about it on the IFDC Yahoo group.
We'll be able to help you out.
Or, you can email me directly at;
selojdesigns@yahoo.com
If you don't have thinning shears, it won't be a
problem.
There is more than one way to get those layers and
we'll discuss and perform the steps of layering with
and without thinning shears.

Unless you are a seasoned repainter,
please bring a closed mouth doll.
Open mouthed dolls require the
additional painting of teeth and there
is careful shading that needs to be
done around/close to the teeth to give
proper depth.
It will be much easier for novice
painters to use a closed mouthed doll
for this workshop.
Have an idea of what kind of lips you
want your doll to have.
Full and pouty, or thin and
streamlined.
What color would you like to use?
I'll have several colors on hand and of
course I'll have my favorite metallic
colors :)
