| OOAK remake artist is a master of all trades. We're not just an artist. We're the Mothers (or Fathers) of Invention, creative minds that have run amuck and channel our energies onto three dimensional canvases. It is artwork. We paint portraits. It is design. We sew costumes and accessories. It is style. We create hairdos or dont's. And we do it on a 1/6 scale. Some go smaller. How many of us have closets filled with fabric, notions, threads, bobbles, bangles and Barbies? Bins of ribbons, ropes, jewels, flowers and findings? Magic sculpt and sculpey? Sergers? Singers? It's an endless craft. We can reroot and restore. We can produce miniature food, utensils and dioramas for our extensive pleasure. There are holiday dolls, theme dolls and celebrity dolls. There are dead dolls, pretty dolls and just plain old odd dolls. We touch hearts, souls and beings. From the sublime to the ridiculous. To the beauty of amazing realism. We are the masters of our own universe. Photographers, writers and layout artists. Ebay would not expect less, as long as we followed their policies. It's an independent craft. Well, until the commission. Magnifiers and intensifiers. Tiny little brushes. And the dolls from 4" to 36" Make a face, make a shoe. How do you do. We're only a remake artist! |
