The Lion King
The Broadway Musical

IT'S THE CIRCLE OF LIFE,

AND IT MOVES US ALL
             THROUGH DESPAIR

AND HOPE,

               THROUGH FAITH

AND LOVE
Once in a great while, an artist with pure vision comes into the light.
An artist that is able to render the masses speechless.

It is more than manipulating objects.
I think that choreographer Garth Fagen - said it well...

"WHENEVER EMOTION AND STYLE MEET,
A KIND OF PASSION IS KINDLED."

Trish Forte' has that passion, as is evident in all of her OOAK Fashion Doll
work as well as her polymer clay sculptures
Fashioned after the
Broadway Musical -
The Lion King.

Trish has painstakingly
created a line of ooak
figures that represent
the characters from
the musical.

Her efforts have paid
off, as is evident in the
craftmanship of each
piece/character.
Drawing inspiration from
Julie Taymor, the original
costume designer, Trish had
to create many of the
accessories such as clothing,
masks, handheld items, etc.

Mufasa's swords as well as
his elaborate collar were
hand tooled from copper
sheeting.
They were then burnished
and antiqued.

The fabric used for Mufasa's
costume was hand drawn,
colored, sealed and
extended.
I will allow the following photographs to walk you through the characters in the
collection as they have volumes to speak for themselves.
